Amanda and Cierra {A Garden Party}

 Our second Gourmet Club meeting of the year was another fantastic evening!

Cierra and Amanda threw a Garden Party dinner full of soft, pretty details. 

Lots of pastels, so fun.  Totally got us all excited for Spring!

I think we all had fun dressing very "garden party".  Lots of floral, lace, and fresh, spring color.

 Oh hydrangeas.  So gorgeous.

 Appetizers included a citrusy salad and a delicious spin on a grilled cheese sandwich using pound cake.

So unique and so tasty!  I almost ate mine gone before remembering to take a picture!

Chatting with friends is always one of the best parts of the evening, of course.

Each place setting was so pretty with varied placemats and gorgeous dinnerware--I loved the shapes and textures.  Lovely layering.

Dinner is served...

A tropical, coconut-crusted seafood salad.

 Creamy tomato-basil soup.

 Crispy and flavorful Romano chicken with asparagus and feta cheese.

 A trio of treats for dessert!  Coconut cream cake, chocolate trifle, and raspberry trifle.  The flowers and pretty pastel mints were edible as well.

Flower seeds, a cute little bag of soil, flavored honey, chocolates, a chocolate-dipped oreo and marmalade.  Love that little key tied to the bag.  Can't wait to try these little goodies!
